So its been awhile since i actually babysat kids that weren’t related to me, so I was a little nervous. I walked and met the mom. Her name is Judy. She’s really nice. I met the kids one by one, and the baby aiden was so adorable! He smiled a lot and was giggling with me. So I of course thought.. “hey this is gonna be a piece of cake” See I have a lot of experience with kids. when I was ten I started baby sitting for my neighbor Lisa and her two kids. Emily and Caleb. Caleb was still a baby then. It was actually pretty easy and cool. I mean I got paid 3$ an hour. When I was ten that was a lot. When I was 14 my baby cousin J.J was born. My aunt had been living with us at the time because her fiance was in the marines and he was gone for a little while. My aunt was about 18. she had already graduated high school and everything and worked at a Doctors office. So my aunt went through some sort of depression when my baby cousin was born so I took care of him for about a month maybe less. I’d come home from school bring all his stuff with me and tell her to take a nap. She looked exhausted! Her eyes were like super red. Anyhow, I would bounce him in his bouncer while I did my homework. It was nice. Then two years later my baby cousin Audrina was born. I babysit them whenever my aunt needs me to. Audrina is my god daughter. See my aunt and I are basically sisters. When I was born, she was 4 about to be 5 in a few months. So her and I are pretty close. I also am the oldest from my siblings. I babysit them all the time. Anyways Judy shows me around the house. Tells me where everything is and what the schedule is for the kids and the baby on eating, sleeping, and what not. So she leaves and I try talking to the kids to get to know them. I wanted them to like me so I made small talk and we ended up talking about random things. Oh and that day I was super tired. I barely had sleep the night before. So the baby is sleeping up stairs( Judy put him to sleep before she left.)
He then wakes up and he’s crying like crazy. You know in the movies or shows when people get a baby and like the baby just keeps crying and they don’t know what to do? I always said that’s not how babies are, they over exaggerate. Well I was proven wrong that day. This baby did that to me. He literally cried all day. Then I thought to myself… This is only Monday… It didn’t help that I was super tired. But the end of that day I looked like the baby sitter from the Disney short film ” Jack-Jack” attack. For those that have never seen it, I put a picture!
